SaharaMarathon in the world

Past participants and volunteers have accepted to help promote the Sahara Marathon in their own countries. In particular, these contacts can help to provide advice and reassurance for those interested in taking part in the event so please do not hesitate to contact them.

How to get a visa

Visas are required to enter Algeria and these must be requested at the Algerian Consulate at your country of origin but must also be accompanied by an invitation from a Saharawi representative. If you choose to travel with the Spanish, Italian, German, or UK group they may be able to arrange a visa. If further help is required, contact Jeb Carney (e-mail: jebcarney@aol.com) who can arrange for the US Saharawi representative, Mouloud Said, to make contact with relevant contacts at each embassy.
